If your registration for your new domain is successful, it generally takes approximately 24 to 48 hours for it to show up in the Public WhoIs records.

  4. How long does it take to transfer my existing domain?

If your previous registrar releases the transfer & you are able to confirm your transfer request by responding to their emails successfully, domain transfers usually take 48-72 hours once all parties confirm it.

  5. Is it free to transfer my existing domain & web site to Peanets.com?

The transfer itself of your domain name and/or web site is simple and free. All you would need to pay is the

You can use dns1.peanets.com and dns2.peanets.com if you want to set your own DNS information for your existing domain registrar to point your domain to your site at Peanets.com. Otherwise, we will take care of your DNS & IP address information for you.

We manually verify all new signups to reduce fraudulent orders. Account setup takes between 24-48 hours, usually less.

  9. Will there be stored backups of my web site data?

Yes, backups of data are made daily, weekly & monthly.

  10. Are JSP or ASP page formats supported?

Currently, our servers do not support JavaServer Pages (JSP) or Active Server Pages (ASP).

  11. How do I transfer files to my web site?

You can upload files through your control panel at www.yourdomainname.ext/cpanel, replacing "yourdomainname.ext" with your own domain name (including the correct .com, .net, or .org extension), or you can use an FTP software program of your choice. To transfer files from your old server to our server, simply download all of your files from your old server, then login to our server using your account login information & upload all of your files. We will be happy to help with this process if you need assistance.
